How long has it been?

Months. It has been months since I first bought this domain name and decided that I would add some diversity to the New Old Moms Club.

The New Old Moms Entrepreneur Club. This club defines the business side of me. I have been dabbling in my own businesses for years. It’s a funny thing when I look back on it, I have learned so much and come so far.

Much of what I have learned has been from my never ending quest to find the best, easiest, fastest and most satisfying way to make money from home. Consequently, I have tried my hand at many things and have crossed the path of many “gurus” in my journey.

“I throw my failures in life down in front of me. For I know that my greatest failures in my journey down the path of life will be the sturdiest stepping stones on my path to my greatest successes”

I want to share these stepping stones with you.

So….I labored and labored on about what my first post would be. I wanted it to be something remarkable. Something to really catch your attention and make you want to rush to Join the Club before you even finished reading the post.

Then it hit. I was at school waiting to pick up my daughters. I was thinking about how I need to get this blog started already because I have so much I want to share. My bag tipped and out feel my draft for
The Hot Momma’s Project.

Role Models…that is what is at the foundation of the New Old Moms Entrepreneur Club. I want to share with you the role models that have helped me navigate the stepping stones along my journeys.

With only 16 days left to complete a Case Study for 2009, I had to make sure every one of you knew about this awesome Project and it’s founder Kathy Frey. Kathy is definitely a Chief Hot Momma!

In a nutshell, this project is about women helping women (and girls). It is a way for all of us to share our stories and inspire, motivate and empower another person.

I had seen Kathy’s tweets about the Hot Mommas Project on Twitter. If I say I had looked at it and considered doing it 10 times that’s modest.

I thought, “Me, a role model?”

Then I read what I would have to do. “I can’t write a ‘case study’ about me. That’s too hard” were my next thoughts.

Next thing I knew, I was nominated and the pressure was on.

It was the best thing that could of happened to me.

Accountibility. The nomination made me accountibile to writing the case study but what it also did was bring me back to my defined purpose in life.

That purpose is to inspire, motivate and empower women and girls to be the best reflections of themselves.

We are all Hot Mommas. We all have ‘case studies’ that define us. Every day we create a new case study in our life. Take the time to share the ‘case study’ of your life with my daughters.

Why?

Because my daughters are my inspiration. They are my motivation. And they are what empowers me to be a Hot Momma!

Yet, sadly, my stories are not necessarialy what will impact my daughters lives and give them that “ah-ha” moment. They live my ‘case studies’. My stories are just part of their everyday life.

Your story though, that’s different! Your story, your case study, could be what rocks my daughter’s world and gives her direction and inspiration.

Please consider sharing your story and writing a case study for the Hot Mommas Project.
